Now that I’ve finally found a good software (Aperture – the topic of a future post) to manage all my photos, I’ve uploaded a few more photos from Columbia:
I don’t quite know how to describe my holidays in Cape Town, South Africa. Stunning is the word which comes to my mind. I haven’t had such a good, relaxing and fun time in a long time. Cape Town is a beautiful place and I was with some great people. I’ve only spent 9 days there but somehow it feels like it made a big impact on me. Below are a few photos taken during the trip.
Last weekend I bought tickets to Cape Town in December. One of my friend is going back home and invited me. I decided to tag along and I will be going for about 10 days. It is quite exciting as I’ve never been to Africa before. Besides, Cape Town is supposed to be really beautiful. And on top of that, it will be the summer so I’ll also get a break from London’s weather. Perfect! I can’t wait for December now.
Last weekend I was back to France to attend one of my oldest friend’s wedding. As usual it took me a bit of time to adapt again to life in France. I know it happens every time but I still can’t get used to it. This time it was even exacerbated by a combination of too much work – even to my standard – and difficulties sleeping. This made the whole trip feel a bit surreal. On the bright side, I met with people I haven’t seen in a really long time : my friend and all his family. Unfortunately, I don’t have a chance to meet them very often. The other positive aspect of the trip was that I ate a lot of good food and drunk a lot of nice wine and champagne. But also as usual, the end of the trip came too quickly and it was time to go back to rainy London.
