On Saturday my laptop decided to surrender. More precisely, the screen started acting very weird and distort the image, rendering the computer virtually unusable. I thought it was only Windows messing around but it turned out to really be the display. I left it off for a few hours hoping it would fix things up but it didn’t. So what now, you ask? Well, a trip down the Apple Store, here I am sitting with a brand new MacBook Pro. I owned a few PCs but this is the first time I purchase a mac. So far the experience is quite pleasing. I’m still struggling to get all the software I need up and running, but mostly because of my rubbish internet connection.

September 30th, 2007Relaxing time
September 30th, 2007The last month or so has been quite hectic. First and foremost, work always keeps me very busy. Then, I went to see my girlfriend in Canada. We also went to New York City for a weekend. All of that was great but not the most relaxing of times, especially in NYC. Upon my return to the UK, very good friends of mine came to visit me so I played the tour guide for a few days. it was great time too but again not very relaxing. That’s why I decided not to do anything this weekend, just chill out at home. Well, I went to catch a movie with my flatmates and had to pass by the Apple Store to pick up a MacBook Pro (more on that on a next post), but that’s all. It’s good to take things slowly once in a while.
Wine is your Friend
September 27th, 2007I’m watching TV sipping on some nice wine. Not that I’m feeling bad or anything but wine makes you forget anything bad – or even half bad – in your life. Wine is your friend. Just don’t abuse it!
